Pretty sure no, the COPO was only for the spoiler equipment. Of course, the grill could have been changed long before I bought it. Plenty of reasons after that long on why.
Grill should have been to GM specs as any other color car.

For $375K they could have easily started from a rusted out shell and accomplished the same thing
