My engine, trans and rear all match the POP and partial VIN. The engine is not completely original with things like the heads, exhaust manifolds, crank and pistons changed, but it is the original numbers matching block. Man, that car sure looks red to me. But then I'm color blind so that could explain it! I'm not trying to put the car down but rather asking if anyone has seen it and do they know if it has the number's matching original engine.

Colors look different based on monitor settings and adjustments. Gotta love hugger orange, Don Stowers Yenko looked awesome at Carlisle.

Not to beat a dead horse here but if the possibility exists that the car had the potential to produce a build sheet and your pocket was stuffed with the cash to make a deal, I know with out a doubt that a vast majority of you would look for it. Face it a few on this site have said one time or another that original documentation is money in the bank. If I was so inclined and had the money to buy this car and was told that a build sheet could exist I would most certainly pull something or at least make an attempt, and I don't mean after it was brought home. Sure the seller would likely say forget it but I would try my darndest(?)to find it. I agree those that the owner may have jumped the gun in his statement of possibly having one but my 2 cents says that a build sheet is priceless, never a show stopper but sure is super nice to have. I have attended a few high end auctions over the years and when the auction begins to stall just the repeated mentioning of a build sheet or in general any original paper work that offered proof of it's originality generaly seemed to ralley up the price a touch. I'm extremely lucky my '69 Coupe has all but the original window sticker, too include a mint broadcast sheet with carbon copy.Sure I paid a touch more but it was money very wisely invested. At my local shows those that are into these rides flip when I show them all the paper work. I must believe that it effects value in a big way. Enough said.. Again my 2 pennies.

Wacky The shippers order is just as good as the build sheet when it comes to documenting a car. It has all RPO's listed on it. Fewer people know about them. Which is why you don't hear about them as often as build sheets. I think that if you took a poll of the collectors out there they would take either a shippers order or a build sheet as documentation as to how the car left the assembly plant.

Shipper Copy is certainly excellent documentation, basically a copy of the window sticker. Broadcast sheet (there are two types) were used in the Camaro assembly process and provide more detailed information regarding components and options used in the assembly of that car.

Certainly no argument here guys.. I have the RPO as well on another cars. Just as neat as the other documents. I'm just a purest. When I invest my money into a car, and lord knows I have spent bookoo amounts I like to have something unique. I find that a fully papered car does it for me.

I would be more inclined to say that it is a big "ALMOST AS GOOD"..!!

The only problem with it over a window sticker is that it doesn't have the vin on it to make you positive that you have the one for the car you are looking at. It only lists the options that were put on a car and do not ID the car it goes to by Vin.
