Bob:
The Z16 is the #1 prototype (there were two). It is quite a bit different than the production run and should be Top Dog of the Z16s. The Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright) Z16, which is a nice, regular production car, sold for $250k at this sale last year. This #1 car was a no sale at Atlantic City (?) in Feb at about $262k. I think it will sell at $300k+. Two other recent Z16 sales I know of are a nearly complete, but apart car needing resto at $103k, and a car without eng or trans needing complete resto at $55k.

I'll be there with my orig paint 67 GTO on an Auto-Spin. I decided to consign the Goat at the last minute which puts it about last Sat. night (lot C157). Should be interesting to see if buyers hang around as they do at B-J on Sat night.

sYc members are welcome to stop by and sit. I should be right outside the big tent.

Dave

Everyone should stop by and say hi to Dave...I met him when we both had displays at Barrett-Jackson last January. Dave is a super cool guy...and his auto spin display is cool, too!

Who attended the Rockford Spring Classic the last couple of days? Any good buys or top dollar sales?

The sassy green 71 hemi Cuda from Legendary sold for over 700k. There were some incredible prices I wonder if this is the beginning or the end.

For those who think it's "the end", that Cuda was bought by a dealer friend of mine who has sold more hemis, including most of the E body converts, than anyone I can think of. He thinks that quality of car "could reach a million" in the not too distant future. He's been right so far, and, I have to say, he put his money where his mouth is.
