I just had to have one of the first 02 Z06s in the SE but this time I'm going to give GM 6 months to a year to work the bugs out and start selling them at invoice. After all, I've got 950+ HP in the GMMG ZL1 to keep me entertained meanwhile. Assuming I live!

Tough lookin car I notice the side vents by the front wheels--Is that to dump any excess engine compartment heat-?--I remember when it wasn't legal to have a plexy glass or glass covering over the headlights , I'm glad that faded away along with the convertable ban----It seems there was a cure for Ralph Nader

Must be nice to get the GM employee Discount. Hawaii dealers are saying no to it for some reason. To bad to since the better half is leaning towards a truck.

The large brakes bring an excellent level of stopping capability with the Z06, and with their four-wheel brake cooling, they provide excellent fade resistance and lining life during track duties.

The trailing edge of the front wheel opening is radiused to achieve improved drag, but protects the body finish with a tough molding, and a large air extractor is located behind the wheel

No problem Joe...I know I'd definitely have a smile on my face if I had one. It's a sharp looking car!

I put my initial deposit down today. Figured it was the patriotic thing to do.

Now I have to figure out whether or not I like it. I was going to go to the dealer on Saturday but this little Live 8 concert thing closed off all the roads. Very inconsiderate.

That black manufacturer's plate car sure looks tough. Steve, did you get polished or painted rims?
