What? Barret Jackson is hardly the barometer of the clone world!

then why are all the clones at barret bringing the big money
so that might be the barometer.if you cant get the real thing then i guess the clones are the next best thing.check the sales there and you will see the prices of the clones.they all soldfor record numbers.when they go down then you can say its hardly the barometer.real cars that are in bad shape get all themoney there.

Ralph, Didn't you buy a tribute/clone/recreation at Russo and Steele at this years auction?

The way I look at it...if you can't find the real thing...find a tribute car and drive it like it should be driven

THATS EXACTLY RIGHT DRIVE IT LIKE YOU SHOULD,THE VERY RARE COLLECTOR CARS SHOULD BE SHOWN AND KEPT PRESTINE THE OTHERS SHOULD BE DRIVEN.AND YES MARLIN THEY DO HAVE MORE MONEY THAN BRAINS,BUT IT KEEPS THE VALUES OUT OF SIGHT.IF I WOULD BRING SOME OF MY CARS THERE I WOULD NEED TWO OR THREE SUITCASSES,BUT THERE STAYING HERE IN THE COLLECTION
FOR NOW
GOOD LUCK

Very rare collector cars should also be driven, otherwise, what are they - a dust collector There is no braggin about being able to lift a cover in your garage - but blasting down the 1320... priceless!
