Do you think when the company name ends with LLC that it might an indicator of future problems?

Leave it to Access Hollywood to get both sides of the story.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18809710/
They even have a link to the sales contract Bruce signed.
He bought the car last December, and after 3 months he filed suit? Hard to believe Black Ties rebuttal.

That can even be more dangerous for the crooks, the only resort at that point is revenge - sweet revenge.

you know if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck
then it sure is a f--- duck.
If I were the person that sold him the car and wanted to sell more cars in the future I would immediatly
refund him the money.Or repair the car as advertised.
And why would you sell a car to anyone with problems in the first place.
I wonder if the dealership is doing this to get more exposure.

You know, I must be missing the big picture here.

Mr. Hollywood buys a car months before he files a claim.
The seller claims that he gave Willis the option to inspect
the car first. Don't know if that is true or not. Also,
I don't really care. Let them work it out in court like
real people. Oh wait! This is one of Hollywood's elite.
SO, we have to get Access Hollywood into it now. GET REAL!

You know, with all the money this bone-head has, he should
have hired an "expert" to go inspect the car first. Heck,
these Holloywood types don't take a crap-ola without their
agent(s) and lawyers getting involved first. He made a
bad purchase decision - FINE! Live with it and sue. He
shouldn't be able to use the media to further his cause
because he's "special". This is what I object to.

This is primarily why I'm sick of all the "glamour crowd"
getting involved in this hobby these days. I really don't
care about all the cars Leno has, or Willis, or anyone else
of that ilk. Just look at the farce B-J has become. Now
we have the 3-musketeers from OCC selling their cars too.

The fun is going away, I'm afraid. The high dollar values
( while nice for those of us lucky enough to own
one or more of these cars ) have brought about the evolution of
the hobby into what it is today.

Sorry for the rant guys! Raising children, owning a business,
trying to proper in life are all hard enough. I'm just so
tired of turning on the TV Saturday & Sunday and seeing all
these idiots and their rediculous cars, etc. and have to
listen to the bla-bla-bla! I just want to see real people
with real cars. That's what the hobby used to be.

Chuck - real good point you made.

Nuch

Nuch - You're missing some key points. This is from the article:

"BTC president John J. Bertino refused to let the Hollywood star examine the car before buying it - saying it was in "perfect", "pristine" and "museum quality" condition."

And its not really fair to accuse Willis of using the media to further his cause, when in all likelihood the media chose to pick the story up on their own.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE.. He should have inspected the car before purchasing and if he didnt its his own fault! deal with it he is whining about $2,700 and some odd change he had to put into the car?? Give me a break? I wish I only had to put 3k into some of the crap Ive got burnt on ove the years! Ive been burnt a few times and everytime it was my own fault for not looking first. Ive also have bought some "pristine" "show quality" cars and although they have been "show quality/perfect" they ran like crap for sitting and never getting started or driven. Simply put every old car needs some kind of work.

IM DEFINATLEY NOT DEFENDING BLACK TIE BECAUSE IVE HEARD NUMEROUS STORYS ABOUT THEM BUT MOST OF THE BLAME LIES WITH MR. WILLIS.

Its bad that crooks rip us off but do a little reseach before writing the check.. AND IF YOU WANT TO INSPECT THE CAR BEFORE PURCHASE AND THEY DONT LET YOU AND YOU STILL WRITE THE CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAD IT COMING BECAUSE YOUR A MORON.
