If I lived in Iowa, you'd be my agent!

The first of the year I set a new rule in my office. {I have been an Insurance Agent for 35 years.} I no longer will insure Jap cars. I tell people to go some where else to insure.

Please be patient with our good friend Mr. Howie. He's quit smoking again. When that happens, he tends to become an equal opportunity bigot. He just hates everyone.

Smokem if ya gottem.

The problem with what he saying is he is looking at it thru his world, now a days most politicians are greed driven. If you have a failing company you step back and make cuts even if it effects you theese politicians will not they just want to keep taxing us instead of fixing it. I think every body appreciates where we have been the problem is middle America sees where we are going. Jay Leno has no idea in his perfect world.

I'm no expert on Jay, but he was a guy from Massachusetts that worked his ass off ( 300 shows a year ) and did very well because of it. He does not strike me as a Sean Penn type and I think he remembers growing up in a Middle class home. His dad was an Insurance salesman. His world now seems pretty good and so good for him. Thats a great example of the American dream

Get 'em Kim!!
Back in the sixties it was hard to find a gas station that would repair foreign cars.
(Yes gas stations used to fix cars!)
Otto's was the only place I can remember that would repair a foreign car, and he only handled VW and Porsche.
God forbid you were a commie and drove a Toyota or Datsun!
Ahh - the good old days

I'm done with this subject. I can't have a rational discussion with a couple of bigots. Sorry I opened my mouth on this issue.

By definition I believe your rejection of my pining for the days when American cars were kings of the highways makes you a bigot also -

I agree with original post, we as American have it better than anyone else in the world. We should remember to appreciate it more. Sure things aren't perfect, but they could sure be a lot worse.

I say God Bless America, Land that I love

I am truly grateful
