I was at the Houston auction as well. (1985 perhaps?) I didn't know the car was there until I heard it start up. The venue wasn't that big and the sound just totally engulfed the structure. I was totally blown away when it entered the arena and I consider myself lucky to have been there. IMO, this car is in the stratosphere of musclecars right along with the Supersnake and some others.
