The car could have come with the PO1s but I don't know of anyone who ever ordered a car that way...I guess because they were ugly....

Rich,Very cool transforming Nova.First grandmas grocery getter, then Day-2 take it to the track, then back to Day-1 COPO.Really nice look any way you have it.

Alright Dennis (origLS6)whats under the hood of the grocery getter with no SS ornamentation???

It's one of those BIG Z-28 engines. You know; the one with 5 extra cubic inches.

Thats funny Sam.We used to call them "the cam eaters".

Dennis,I don't think those 5 extra cubes made them that much faster. Not to much of a high winder either.Very spartan car though.

We used to call 'em "lifter eaters" because if/when the timing chain goes, you've got a nice set of bent valves!

So I guess I should reset the redline on the tach? It's currently at 7200.

Sorry Rich. We've hijacked the he!! outta your original posting! But I honestly like your look with the whitewalls and PO1s. It's all about being different and definitely should get some attention.

Ha! I wouldn't worry about that, it'll never make it to 7200rpm's
