Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
Since we really like unearthing the real oddities, (like the 4-door '66 Hemi Coronet last year!) does anyone know of any real 409 Wagons? I am sure they made at least a few...

That V4 is pretty neat, any idea what the ignition plan was? There's a few factory 409 Wagons out there, here's a link to a cool 4-Spd up here in Canada... http://www.bruneauperformance.ca/my1...safari409.html ~ Pete

Last one I saw was a red 65 09 wagon about 40 years ago. It was at a local bone yard. Likely been recycled into Toyotas several times over by now.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
Does anybody know where Frank Spittle's 1964 409/425hp 4 speed wagon ended up? I would love to see that one up close and personal.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
There was a long thread over on Chevy Talk about a 62 409/409 wagon sitting in the woods. Used as a tow car back in the day for the 63 Max Wedge Plymouth that was also parked in the woods.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
As incredible as that 409/409 wagon was, the other car that was sitting next to it in those woods was pretty spectacular also.
