Lot number is S285 since its not completly together I'm not sure what owner did for pics.He handled all that. Mecum said car should go through sat between 5PM and 7PM

Something cool happened today. Original owner of car came up today to see his old car and give us more info on it. I also have good pics of the removavble hard top if anybody wants a look.

The story on the top is the original owner bought it new for his 62 Impala SS and he kept it for the 64 when he bought that. The blue book is his actual payment book showing the payments he made on the top. The loan docs for the top are there also.

Thanks Charlie for clearing that up. The original owner of this car bought a 1962 impala ss convertible new and bought the top for that car. He kept the top when he got rid of the 62. The car was delivered and put into service in Nov 1963 and he used the top on the 64. ALL the documents will be on display at the mecum Indy auction along with car and top.
