Actually, there are several oddities with those stripes that indicates that they were likely not from Yenko. They actually look pretty good for duplicates.

Scott, my Ammon Nova had that same sticker, but it was on the bumper and I saved it.

I'm going to hazard a guess that they taped off most of the stripes, and replaced some. if you look at the color in the "DEUCE" it seem a tad different. And the paint is peeling around the stripes on the hood by the LT//1. That tends to make me believe they weren't taken off on the re paint. Just masked over. Maybe some pulled off with the tape and needed to be replaced, or they had them painted back on. Cronkleton's had a whole side painted on after a collision back in the day. Only the original owner will know for sure. Would sure like to visit with her.

Looks like a tape over stripe to me also, I wanted to note the repaint before going any further. I did some stuff like that in the 80's also, when you cant get parts so you do what you have to.. and it was the 80's....

Schoneye is probably correct, as there is overspray on the hood tach - so that wasn't removed for the repaint either.

Would love to see the car - as is, before it gets sold a few times.
