My Chevelle didn't come with stickers on the headrests as delivered to VV Cooke either...

I thought that some of the cars were stickerless on the Heeadrests but didn't have any idea how many.

Can you believe i never even NOTICED the missing headrest decals? I didn't even ask about those...dolp!
![]() The owner knows exactly what he has, and said that several noted folks have offered LOTS of money for it and he has repeatedly turned down the offer... which is very cool to me, because this guy a regular joe that just happened to be fortunate enough to hang onto a good car... he drove it to the show, and told me he enjoys driving it regularly on nice days. he said he has owned it for many many years and has no intentions of selling... He also told me how amazing it is that people now recognize the car as a Yenko, and all the attention his "little old Camaro" brings among cars that cost the owners 10 times as much money. As for the driveline, he said it has a CE block, but all components are orginal, including the 837 alternator, distributor, intake, carb, air cleaner, etc etc. The trans is the original M21 as is the 4:10 BE 12 bolt. Just in looking, side from a set of radials, an aftermarket stereo and speakers, a mixed bag of aftermarket gauges (which he said were in it when he got it but don't look original to me) and an aftermarket shift boot, a new voltage regulator and missing heater hoses due to a leaky core, the car seemed pretty much untouched. Another note, he said it has always had hood pins too. I know some of the network dealers such as Francis installed pins and locks to prevent vandalism and theft on the lot.

It looks like there was only one LB Yenko Camaro sold in Iowa in 69 from Friedley Olds, Cedar Fall Vin# 124379N614579, it was a 4-speed car as well. Did you get the Vin number Joe???? Mark
