It's just that I was laughing so hard, and then to see the word "genius" misspelled... well it was icing on the cake. I rarely check my postings for typos. Best real life typo I ever saw? About 15 years ago I was handling a "step parent" adoption of a young boy. I had dictated a clause stating that the adoptive parent would share in all of the "care and nurturing" of the child. My secretary missed a few keys and typed "neutering". Spell checker didn't pick it up because it was a real word. I barely caught it during the last rewrite. Told her: "Well, the judge may approve this, but I think the boy is going to object." Lynn |
