This beautiful 1969 Indy Pace Camaro Z-11 is owned by Kasey and Sandy Vandenberg (Z11 396).
Kasey and his wife have owned this car for 7 years and enjoy the car tremendously. This car is driven everywhere...it's definitely not a trailer queen!
Here is some information about this beautiful car. It has a 396/325hp engine, Turbo 400 transmission with a 3:07 positraction differential. The car has factory air conditioning, power windows, tilt wheel and power top, too! The car has other options that can be seen in the accompanying photos. All numbers match on this car...and the best part is that it has only 56,000 miles!
The Vandenbergs are no strangers to car shows, as this car was entered into the Camaro Nationals in Tennesee and it garnered 2nd place in the "non-trailered" class with 934 points! It also won the "Original Restored Class" at the Masters Mother's Car show this past July, in Knoxville. The car has been featured several times on ESPN2.
Kasey says that working on this car with his son Kase ( who also has a 1969 Camaro) has brought them closer together, given them a common interest and allowed them to spend valuable father/son time together. That's what this hobby is all about.
Kasey also said that his granddaughter Ashley will get this car in about 14 years...when she's old enough to drive...lucky girl!
