I just love the GUYS that say its easy to build a Camaro etc because "look, they have such a BIG catalog"....You need a machine shop, fab shop and a big pot of luck to get most of the repo industries parts to even come close...BKH

Brian........As you and Joe know and I am finding out....Again.......Original NOS parts are the ""ONLY" way to go for a true restoration.....unfortunately, sometimes the repro route is the only option.......Like Rick said earlier......Most of these guy's that are in the Repro business are in it for one thing only....$$$$$$$$.......and the people in the Sales end of it, have no choice to sell this "Crap"..........Taiwan, China, all "JUNK" or substandard product..........I bought some Repro Window cranks for my Chevelle 4 years ago, looked beautiful......put them on and the Spline portion was too deep into the handle and didn't engage the window crank.....just quite didn't engage.....so you had to push in on the handle to get it to work.....took them off and sent them back and was told "AGAIN" that I was the only one to complain........bought some more 4 years later for a different car and guess what.......Yep!!........you would think that someone would have figured this out by now and corrected this problem........In addition to the Substand product......these guy's that continue to sell this "Junk" have no concerns about giving value for money....Guy's this is a "PROBLEM" that alway's get's swept under the Rug and is a problem that no one wants to address......Why??......

I feel your pain. What color is your interior. On my 68 nova I waited 2 months for a ivy gold carpet. The vender I ordered it from just kept saying next week. Then 2 months later no carpet so I called another resource and they had it in stock and I had it in three days. You could say I was not a happy person. I have learned when ordering parts to ask if it is in stock and if they say no, I hange up the phone and try another source. Just my 2 cents.
