Bob,
I know of a few 409 wagons. One is changing hands and needs the restoration completed. That's a possible depending on how much time the job takes. One is a '64 T.I car that needs it all. I know of another '64 auto car that is all done but I've lost track of it. I'm back on my legs (all 6 of them counting the walker) so I'll start to make more contacts. Verne, check off #10 on your list. BUT, you and Mike have to wear t-shirts with a pack of marlboros rolled up in the sleeve and sit on the front fender and smoke. And if Lillard comes anywhere near my car with a bag of hamburgers shits gonna get real.

This is one of the coolest 409 cars I've ever seen. Low miles, original paint with just the right amount of patina, and a genuine factory hot rod. Bob was hesitant because he has always considered it just a cruise night car that he drives all Summer. This is a great addition to what is shaping up as a highlight of the show, and I think the crowds will agree. Thanks Bob, and nice going Verne.

Thanks Bob. I was getting tired of twisting your arm. See if you can turn up a correct replacement mirror.
The neat thing about Bob's car is that it has some unique features that only REAL 409 cars have and that most people are not aware of. Make sure and ask Bob or myself to point them out to you. Verne |

Unless someone else lets the cat out of the bag, I'd prefer to keep some of them as surprises. I will note that the Z-11 is an unlettered car, displayed just as it was delivered to the dealer. It also has it's original engine. |
