Absolutely agree with post 38,39 and 40. Carpets stay!
We need to hold onto as much OEM as we can.

Tim, you definitely do first class work on all things vintage automobiles, but these mid-year dash clusters are paramount.

Before / after

I just realized you started a thread on this car. Love it! Reminds me of my first 67 427 car.

I had a chance today to get the gauge cluster, clock, and steering column reinstalled today. That should be it for a bit while I get another car finished up. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I don't think Tim would mind me letting folks know I purchased this car from him. I sold a car and my goal was to downsize, but we all know how that goes. I started thinking how a blue/blue 390 sidepipe roadster really was a car I couldn't passup. It's a twin to my yellow 390 sidepipe '67 and very drivable. I'll pick up where Tim left off with cleaning the chassis of its past "orange" modification. My goal is to have this car at the Texas Regional in 2024 or 2025 and eventually Bloomington Gold. Tim was great to work with.

That picture was just too irresistible, eh !! He has "freshened" a number of cars anyone would be proud to own. Congratulations...

Tim didn't like the way the clutch felt so he replaced it before sending the car off. It was the original clutch.
