If anyone knows info on Bob Harris 1969 COPO? Or the 68 Yenko RS they were working on. Also anyone know of a ZL-1 that was in Western New York in the 70s?

Thank you! I was sad to never be around when all of the really awesome stuff was here new.
I was born in the 2000s so I missed that era of street racing and muscle cars and of collectors like BeaumontBill (who I would love to find the stories on his cars) and all those guys. I only got into cars seriously recently, my father raced his 442 on Long Island in the 1980s before he went into the navy, so he for sure helped that connection with muscle cars.
there are still a bunch of really neat cars here, lots of guys with cars in the garages and in warehouses collecting.
I love researching all of this stuff, because I do research for lots of other cars like Porsche and Ferrari and Lamborghinis but these classic muscle cars are so abundant around here and have so many stories, it never gets old!

I meant to post the below 10/70 Newspaper Ad here previously but landed it in the Huebner ZL1 thread first where William noted #12 was known to have been in NY.
Sorry, I forgot to get back here w/ the Ad until seeing your postings today, was the car you knew of Blue also do you know if it came from the Manhattan area?
Awesome thread also thanks for the great details w/ your postings above!

~ Pete

Glad to see you post in the thread, your knowledge of WNY muscle cars is invaluable, especially in the Pontiac world.

The 69 copo Bob H. had was sold new in Toronto and drag raced a few years before being parked. It was a blue on blue RS. He sold it a few years ago as he acquired the RS 68 Yenko which came from Georgia.

Default 1971 judge

Here’s a couple pictures of a 71 Judge 455HO we got from the original owner just south of Buffalo . This was a while ago and as you can see it came in the rare color of black with the combination parchment interior ,beautiful car ,12 bolt rear turbo 400.
