Tombstone is awesome. Does anyone remember Independence Day from the early 80's? It had David Keith racing a 69 Z28???

Bud,
It is one of my favorite "B" Car Movies. The Mopar at the Begining of the Movie is a 1965 Plymouth Satellite with a 426 Race Hemi (Not a Dart). Since I am on the Subject of Mopars and Movies, "Vanishing Point" is a clasic with a Challenger as the star car and the movie "Phantasm" features a Hemi Cuda. You can order those online as well. |

One that was pretty cool for me was the modern day remake of Shaft. Samuel L Jackson drives a 1987 Monte Carlo SS!

Oh yeah. Lets not forget for the Pontiac fans Smokey & the Bandit with the 78 Black&Gold T/A.
And for the Ford fans theres Bullitt. Probably one of the coolest car chases in Hollywood history between Bullitts Mustang fast back and the bad guys 68 Charger. One of the coolest Mustangs ever IMO.

Stefano, the movie with Penn and Walken was "At Close Range" which was a great movie with some nice Chevy history.

I have been trying to find a movie called "The Racing Scene" with James Garner 1969. It is a documentary type movie where a film crew followed the Garner racing team around to races in 1969. There are clips of Don Yenko and his crew racing a Camaro at Daytona. I saw the movie on Speed Channel and wanted to tape it but they never ran it again. I emailed a bunch of people but all say it is not available and only way to get it is a boot leg copy that some taped from Speed Channel.
Any one know a Speed Channel junkie who tapes the old movies? |

Stefano,
As soon as the movie started I recognized the car as not a Dart,It gave me sick feeling in my gut though, I had a Real Bad experience a few years ago with a í65 Cornett, with a psycho Mopar guy from H###, but that is a whole diff story. Lets not forget Good Old Burt Reynolds in was it Gator? He had the Big car with a Big-Block and 4spd. And ya gotta love James Bond for doing the corkscrew jump in his AMC, Suppose one of those is worth a few bucks about now?.LOL. Bud. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ ![]() |
