Just in case some of you are away from Home and find yourself passing through Oklahoma. There is a native from Philly that has a Philly steak resturant located right on I-44 between Lewis and Peoria on the N. side called "Steak Stuffers" that has a very good original philly steak. If George is there you will not be in doubt that he is from Philly.

Mmmmm good Cheese Steaks.....

My buddy just got back from the states and he made a comment about the portions at resturants there. He's a big guy himself and he mentioned that the portions are huge and even he could'nt eat them, and it did'nt seem to matter where you went. I guess Americans love their food.

"The land of plenty."

Heart disease and arterial blockage from poor diet (sclerosis) are known as "diseases of affluence." In other words, since we're a wealthy country we eat all the food we want and then some. Heart disease, artery blockage, bolemia, anorexia nervosa--none of these diseases are found in say, sub-Saharan Africa. Same with acid reflux "disease," which isn't an actual disease, but rather a result of eating high-fat foods and not excercising.

Burp... Oh, excuse me, we just got home from dinner at Tony Roma's. I had the BBQ special and two on-tap brewskis.

Life is (belch) good!

Watching the food network, they have the biggest food show, it seems when it comes to the biggest pie, cake, taco, pizza, etc etc are titles held by americans. Ever see the movie "Supersize Me", interesting movie.
