NICB documents would not show a dealer transfer, only dealer that the factory shipped the car to.

Gents
Do you really think that Joel would remember all the alterd cars he worked on?? Its my opinion that if you have the original bill of sale for the work done you will get a letter.Or if Joel built the car yes he would remember and you would get a letter. I have a signed witness statement from the original owner of my 68 Camaro that Joel alterd the 396 camaro and installed a 427 short block in the car.I also have the second owner who told me it was a motion altered car and a third person from Windsor area who told me the same thing. The first owner holds a track record ( gave me a copy of the award)at the Detroit drag strip in 1969 went 10;45 in the quarter. Also have a news papper article confirming a top bracket racing winner (king of the hill) however I dont expect Joel to take a leap of faith and say that my car was a Motion alterd car,or Joels reputation would be just like the recent BJ fiasco. The original owner gave me the original bill of sale for my car great person helped me restore my car by giving me lots of info and many stories of his legendary drag strip and street bruiser. He also told me that somewhere in his house is the original bill of sale for the work that Joel did on the car.I pray every day that he finds it. If he finds it I will be contacting Joel. thats the way I see it. ![]() Peter |

Reading Peter's comments above brings back a question I've asked before...when Joel 'documents' a car, does he have Vins recorded he looks up or is he just going by what 'looks like' his work...or what?.
Just wouldn't want to see things end up like the C-C situation where after that last round of foolishness, it seems like all the genuine facts are now left in a drawer somewhere...or is there any updates to what's happening there now?. ![]() ~ Pete
