Wonderful pics and articles. Thanks for posting, Andy. There were two Cherokees. One with red interior and one with black interior. The black interior car, which still exists, was built 06B and could not have been at the NY Auto Show in April '67.

I saw the black interior car here at the Pavs in Scottsdale a few years ago. I think it was going to cross the block at one of the auctions at that time. I have pictures of it somewhere but can't find them at the moment.

Thanks for the link Jon also always sharing such great info! Here's an expanded view of the Red interior Cherokee also a few more from the '67 Chicago Auto show, some the same as the Getty links but before they stamped their name to them. ~ Pete .
