Looks great ! Where did you get your exhaust system from and do you know what brand the mufflers are ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I got the Exhaust System from a person that specializes in 66 big block cars.....he had some extra sets made when doing his last 425 H..P. car .......The Mufflers are stock 66 427 Maremont Mufflers......

Ken , that is fantastic!! The best documented restoration I have ever seen, better than any of those campy TV shows.

I would like to here/see video from outside the garage..(behind the duals)...what that sounds like through those stock skinny pipes. Great Job!!

Well...........I have to take the car tomorrow and get the front end aligned........I won't get the seats back until Friday.........So.........I went in the basement and got a Chevelle Bucket seat and put it in the car so I could take it out for a quick Test Drive.....As soon as I pulled out of the Driveway I knew something was wrong as there was a banging coming from the rear of the car.......I pulled it back into the garage and put it back on the lift and started checking........Humm!!!!!........Ends up that the rear shocks are too short and are about a 1/4" away from full travel as the car sits.........Drove it to the gas station and filled it up.....that lowered the car enough to take the Banging away until I get the right Shocks.....Imagine that.......
But.........With the front end alignment pretty close by eye and going thru the gears slowly (Test Drive Only)........All I can say is "WOWZA"..........I can tell that this Engine has some "Grunt" behind it......also.. this is my first 4 speed car in 15 years.......Now I know why you "Guy's" like to shift........"Big Smile"......I'll post a lot of Before and after Pic's in a couple of day's...........

Ken

Got a call from the Upholsterer today.........Colors don't Match...........Gonna try again....another week delay....But.....That's O.K..........Nova Nat's next Week.....SCR the week after........and I'll bring the Biscayne to Monmouth/LaHarpe........Could have went with the material as it was, But.....Why Hurry Now and be Sorry later....
On the Bright side, had the Front end aligned today and put about 50 miles on the car....Other than the 3-4 shift Rod falling out of the trans shift arm (forgot to put the clip in)......Everything is "Good".....Wanted to make the NSRA deal in Milwaukee this weekend, but ........
