Chuck,
This will be the first time I go to Kirkland - third year for the show. They take over the "downtown" area near the waterfront. I heard they had over 400 cars last year, lots of good raffle prizes, all the stores and restaurants are open in downtown. Sounds like fun, I just want to go to a show where I have nothing to do but hang out! http://www.legendscarclub.com/car_shows.htm We'll be there with Sue's car (the 67). Saturday I have chores and will work on the L78 motor as well. -Sam

Forum member Denis Gilbert's Deepwater Blue '67 Z. 998-point car and it shows. NOS redlines, "one of four or five sets" in existence. Wow. [image] http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a234/BE427TJ/2005CamaroAllChevyShow048.jpg[/image] ![]() [/ QUOTE ] I love the 67 Z's. Had a good friend in high school with a Tahoe Turquoise 67. White stripes, black vinyl top. Gorgeous car. And boy was it fast. Had belonged to a GM exec and engine had been "worked over" to some extent, but he never knew for sure what had been done other than the obvious headers. Did know it pulled over 450 on the dyno. He beat a lot of big blocks street racing. Just out of curiosity, what in the world was the 2 point deduction for? Only have three "dill" valve caps? Lynn |

I bet the two points were because of the stripe lines, width cant be more than the line itself...ask Steve, he has a Pacecar like that...after the points are deducted you will see this usual repsonse ..youve got to be kidding, right?

[/ QUOTE ] I guess that could be really frustrating. Especially considering the variations on original cars. Some things just can't be narrowed down to what was "correct" in 1967. Anyone know for sure what the two point deduction was for? Lynn |

I think some guy drooled on the paint, two points off for cleanliness.
