This thread is about "Favorite '69 Z's we've owned". Lets take it down a notch and keep the thread on topic. Its about sharing stories and pictures of our favorite Z28, not having them judged or critiqued.

Play nice everyone...Here is a pic of me screwing up a orig. paint 69 RS Z. Repainted it, added complete JL8 brakes, crossram and chambered exhaust. Been a few years. This was my first nice 69 Z28. It's a Garnet Red car.

It was one of those tell tale signs it was the real thing..as were the original Z-28 emblems. And yeah I guess there was a lot of wrong stuff on it..It was never restored but it had been 'repaired' over the years, Complete born with drive-train. Orig alt, carb even shifter as I remember. If I made it out to be a showstopper, I over spoke, However since it was the ONLY 69' Z I've owned. It was my favorite. |

I miss those days. Seeing Charley tear apart his red Z reminds me of the fun my buddies and I used to have with our cars, not a care in the world other than 'improving' our cars. |

That pic was from late 80's. Here it is in orig paint with sport mirrors that were on it. Pics of orig engine that to this day has only had the timing chain and gears replaced. Pic of it with crossram and a pic of it after repaint.
