Time to learn how to get under it, the right way. My first lesson I can vividly remember . Had to jack up the car, get it on stands and make sure it was safe and stable. Start at the front on a creeper and head to the rear, turn around and come back to where you started. Head back to the tranny and stay ther for 5 min...this was a actual lesson at our vocational school. I did it under a 72 Camaro that was donated by GM Norwood after the strike. I was surprised by how many couldn't do it. I could have went to sleep under there...

Having done a bit of research on the C427X intake (already knew it was a 70's piece, not to mention Motion used them), most people seem to run them with a 780 (or larger) carb. Is a 750 not enough for these? I have heard they flow extremely well.

If you're looking for the "Day 2" look....the C427X in a good candidate. If you're fine with the stock look, the factory "163" intake actually works better than the C427X. I believe it was someone on here that did a comparison back in the day and the Edelbrock didn't perform as well as the factory intake. Kurt

I plan on keeping the C427X purely for the Day 2 look.
