Yep, I used to hit High Street a few times a year in the early 90's. Sometimes it would take 20 minutes to go one block. One night it took a hour to get from rt 100 onto high street. Ahh, good times.

No clue. I'm a lifelong Texan.
I know Goshen Indiana was a good one, and Woodward Ave in Detroit was a big one.
But I am far from an authority on anything in the North.

I wish I would have experienced it back in it's heyday! Now, I live but 5 miles away and there is no cruising scene whatsoever...

Greetings everyone! Quick question. Somewhere in his thread there a picture of a mintish green colored station wagon going up the old return road at maple grove. I can't seem to find it in here, and I want to share it with a group that posts old pics of maple grove. Can anyone help me out?

I "inherited" the family photos when my sister and I cleared out our childhood home. My dad was a shutter-bug, shooting exclusively on slide film. There must be thousands of slides in the box! Anyway, I recently bought a slide scanner and am learning to use it tonight. I processed 9 slides and here are three appropriate for this thread. I think these were shot in Florida in 1973.

Yes, I know they are backwards. Like I said, I am learning how to use this scanner. I promise to do better next time.
