Vern, Bob Marvin from Warroad, MN has a museum called "The Shed". In it is has a supposed real Nassau Blue/Blue 1962 SS409/409 convertible. Might be worth checking into.

Rick </div></div> IF that's the car with plastic seat covers and 7,500 original miles, that's a hell of a car.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
Jake's '62 2x4 car was the first one registered so that slot is taken up. I could use help finding 400hp cars though. I'm also having a hard time finding a 340hp '65. Any leads would be appreciated.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
The roster is now open to more than one of each year/horsepower, providing the second car is significantly different from the first one. Meaning no two cars of the same body style or color.

Re: MCACN 2015 REAL 409's wanted for Special Display.
I think we're about at the 60ft mark now and about dead even. Powershift, here we go....
The most satisfying part of this search is finding real cars that I didn't already know about. Most of the cars signed up so far are ones I've already doc'd and know they're real. Verne |
