Marlin is correct ..... as usual : )

Yes, Doug was nice enough to sell us this wonderful car and we thank him. Doug was very good to work with, very professional and helpful with information and has assisted us with locating a few parts needed for the restoration. I will also add that Stefano and Ken S were very helpful in the process with input and assistance in getting the deal completed. We at Mascar Classics are restoring the car to the highest level possible with the intention of bringing the car to the 2015 Muscle Car Nationals for its debut. Ken from Deuce Heaven is consulting with the build and we are having a great time restoring this awesome Deuce

Don't mind the snakes as bad as the raccoons, and hornets.

It will be interesting to see what method is used to repair the rust (that is -- if there is any damage) on the top and side of the windshield opening ...

On any areas of rust, we will be using the original panels and metal finishing in small sections as needed. Its always at least twice the work but well worth it to keep the sheet metal original.

I trust you are taking plenty of photographs of codes and markings? That is such an important part of the tear down process, and we've learned a lot from the Deuces that have documented restorations. Specifically, inspect the firewall for grease pencil markings, front suspension components for paint daubs, subframe for date stencils and inspection stripes, driveshaft for application paint rings, rear diff for inspection scribbles and paint daubs, and the sides of the engine block / ends of the cylinder heads for crayon writing. A little time spent documenting will pay off huge in the finished product!

That is awesome! Can't wait to see them - this is how we learn about these cars, so good job taking the pics.

Check the sides of the engine block, many times the engin code (CTC in your case) will be written on both sides, in yellow crayon, upside down. Also, you might find white "X"'s on the ends of the heads, under the Orange paint.
