They say the story is that Bill Stepp planted bags of Heroin in the rear Wheels of one of the Cars that Heavy bought from him. Some says Bill Stepp was informer and was working for FBI. I dont know.

From HAMB
William Elias "Bill" Stepp was the most famous mobster, gangster and notorious hoodlum the Miami Valley has known. "Bill's major call to fame is that he probably lived the most charmed life of any mobster in the history of the United States," said Wes Hills, a former Dayton Daily News staff writer who covered organized crime in the Miami Valley for about 20 years. "He succeeded in avoiding prison for his entire adult life while being the most powerful gangster in the region," Hills said Thursday, Dec. 11. "Many in law enforcement believe the reason Bill evaded prosecution was because of his long-standing cooperation with the FBI and other law enforcement." |

There was a cool story I read years ago about the 69 Camaro that they brought to the painter.
Heavys guys parked in the middle of the road outside the Painter with the Ramp Truck blocked the road and unload the Camaro. Parked it on the side of the road. Went in to the Painter and told him that Heavys Camaro is parked on the side of the Road and the Keys are in it. Painter sayed that they cant leavit on the side of the Road with Keys in it. Heavys guys replied that ¨No one is messing with Heavys stuff¨. Last edited by Carleen; 08-28-2023 at 02:00 AM. |

One of Heavy's 69 Camaro's was parked at gas station in Wantagh LI for a long time. Remember is distinctly- Hugger Orange, Blk top, RS option, lettered "Brookly Heavy". I was in Jr high and always asked the owner of the station if it was for sale, always got the same answer "No" why not, its just laying here.? "The owner is in jail and it has to stay here"
