That's why I asked Rob to handle the bookkeeping and collect the payments...that way you'll get a receipt from the sYc that corresponds with the inside pocket declaration. I could probably get George Kurien [the manufacturer] to make a receipt/memo that certifies it's origins, if you'd like. [That offer would apply to all those that ordered a jacket.]

Steve..............I hate to be the one to complain.......but have you looked at the inside pocket declaration? It says "Custom made for Yenko Sporscar Club".

The "t" is missing in SporTscar.

Is everyone else's like this or just mine?

I just got a PM from Belair about the same issue. Belair bought 2 jackets and one had a misprint like you describe, while the other jacket he got was correct. It' appears that some slipped through with the inside label discrepency. Everyone should check their inside pocket label for that error. I will get replacements for anyone that got a jacket with the label error. Send them back to me, and I'll expedite the exchange. I just checked the 2 I got and they were correct, but obviously 2 [so far] were incorrect.

Charley,
Exactly! The misprint adds to the rarity, for those who know about old coins, the double die stamped dates on certain years are on the top of the value heap.

Gawd...don't give me a stroke!! Seriously, Charley, I want everyone to be happy with these jackets. So please...EVERYONE check for that spelling error on the inside pocket label. I tried really hard to get them out perfectly, but I was more focused on the leather dye colors, stitching, fonts, logo and collar labels being era correct, "Red Dawg". Let me know guys: [email protected]

Mine was taken off the assembly line and went straight to engineering where a RA V tag was tested...although no documentation has come to light yet I believe this is one of maybe 2 that escaped destruction at the proving grounds...later it was converted to a SYC approved Sporscar jacket with a new inner tag from the guy who is selling new Camaro bodies....however it remains to be seen whether this will be recognised as a true Sportscar jacket and not a re-body....

I understand you can also get these jackets from Jack Douglass. Are they real Yenko Jackets?

Bel air,
You got me rollin on the floor, about the same reaction I will get when I show up for a party at the clubhouse this Saturday night! I am jealous, your jacket is rarer then mine, but at least I got matching numbers, or should I say letters! I had a guy ask me in a store last night why my jacket said "sick" on the sleeves, and why that was spelled wrong. Takes all kinds I guess, my pro-street 61 apache pick up was parked in a gas station one day and a older fellow with a John Deer hat walked around it, looked at the wheelie bars, and commented that was the damdest three point hitch he had ever seen.....
