'65 Chevy II SS, 283/PG, Heater Delete Hawaii-Sold

Neat little car. Just imagine how rare that heater delete dash block off plate must be! A Nova site says there were 4,832 C48 cars in 65 (more than I would have expected), but I would think most of those would have been in the lower trim levels, with a painted metal block of plate instead of the chrome panel on this car.
Trim tag is fuzzy when you blow up the engine bay pic, but looks like it has H in group 2, which should be for heater delete.

Cool car.
A guy I met at a swapmeet,made a chrome heater block out plate for his '65 Chevy II SS in the car for sale area.He later on told me he made it,yet all thought it was authentic because no one had ever seen a real one before and had nothing to compare it to. |
