Default 1952 Lincoln Radical Custom "The Pearl"

This is a 1952 Lincoln Capri Convertible that was built by Tony Bruskivage of Hawthorne, NJ. The front fenders were extended & modified accept canted quad headlights. The headlights were set into plastic backing plates. Below the headlights, 1955 Buick bullets were installed for protection & styling. A large grille opening was made & fit with horizontal bars. The grille opening was molded to the lower pan, & the overall appearance of the front end is very similar to the "Barris Kustoms built "Golden Saharah". All chrome was removed, giving the car a one-piece appearance. The rear fenders were extended over a foot. Double fins were added to the top & bottom of the fenders. The rear bumper was removed & replaced with a molded rear pan. Hand formed oval taillights were installed along with sunken back-up lights. The front part of the rear quarter panels was dressed up with Buick portholes. Once completed, Tony named the car "The Pearl". In 1962 the Pearl was featured in "Custom Rodder May 1962", by then the Buick portholes were removed from the rear quarter panels& the car had received hand-formedsiqde fins, custom mesh-covers over the tail lights, & a custom designed tufted top. The interior had received a tufted & pleated naugahyde upholstery. Power came from a 1956 Lincoln engine. According to Custom Rodder May 1962, this version featured a pearl paint of Tony's own formula.
Attached are some articles you can find online if you do a search.
There were a few versions of the car changed by other owners, see photo's.
The first photo shows how it sits today, white with the flames on the hood & from fenders. IMO the flames look terrible & possibly you could remove them. It has been awhile since it has rum, and the transmission I am told from the owner that it leaks so transmission does need work, I will double check, but he might have another transmission for it. When I was at the owners home last week, the car is tucked in amongst other cars & I cold not get good photos it, I was more focused on the survivor 70 Chevelle SS w/6289 miles.
The car was at the Ram Rods Rod & Custom Show in 1962 at the National Guard Armory in Washington D.C.
I will get more photo's of it as it sits today.
Send a PM or call me anytime between 6 AM - 11 PM EST
seven one seven, three four eight, twenty four twenty four.

A guy named Tom Doorly use to own this before it was a giveaway car. I guess I should post it on HAMB.
