'65 Bonneville, rare 3-speed stick
Neat car. I have the same Dearborn 3-speed in my GTO and it's a nice shifting, durable trans.

Steering column shows it was a three-on-the-tree.

Poncho...big
Those quarter panels are the size of small country...amazing.

My chrome bill on my 66 was more than that red one. Cool car.

Should have left it on the column on that car. It isn't like anyone is going to autocross it.
Reminds me of a long time friend of mine. In the early 60's he got his dad's 56 Chevy as a hand me down. First thing he did was buy a floor shifter. Dad came out in the drive way, and said: "took em almost 40 years to get that shifter up on the column where it belongs, and you're going to put it back on the floor in an afternoon."

The quarter panel on my 65 Bonneville rag top is the same length as the door and quarter on my 69 Camaro, combined. That panel is huge! |
