425hp 4-speed Merc Marauder
An original 390/4-speed car with a 427 transplant, but still a rare beast in that configuration.
Looks like a lot of car IMO for the price. If it was only a different color...neat car though. http://ebay.to/2hHKk2F |

Man, some of those interiors back then just looked sensational. Very inviting.

Re: 425hp 4-speed Merc Marauder
Personally, I think the color is perfect. Probably because I had a Tropical Turquoise 57 Chevy in high school.

Wow, I agree, good bang for the buck. I am a fan of the color, too, Lynn.

Re: 425hp 4-speed Merc Marauder
----At least 25 years ago there was a real 427/425 Marauder at Carlisle. I always thought they were really cool but until then had never seen one. Funny thing was that it attracted almost no attention all week. Never could understand that. Theres a black conversion similar to this car that shows up every year at Woodward that's pretty nice......Bill S

Definitely a classy ride. I had a set of those seats that made their way into a 55 Chevy - looked really cool in that car.
