It's (almost) time.

Come spring, Pap and I have agreed it's time to put disc brakes on it. He knows I want to start driving it (which is according to Dad, why he went with a 650 double pumper when it needed a carb- he specifically wanted to have it under-carbed for my safety. I can't blame him.) and so the front drums are coming off.

I. Cannot. Wait.

I'm not sure what's going to be done about the lifter. Something has to be, obviously. I'm just not sure if we're going to do it ourselves or not. Pap can't be out in the garage like he used to, sadly.

Ain't no fun in viewing your car as an 'investment'. Get out there and beat on it!
