If I remember correctly, at times when the market dropped in the past, , folks invested more in old cars...which made the price increase. ��

This time is different, at least for precious metals. Silver and Gold had a small run up, and now a drop. Wonder why.

That was 10 - 12 years ago. The "market" has a lot more grey hair now and much more at stake if the "investments" don't pan out and end up costing them more of their retirement funds when they cash out.

Absolutely. In the past if you paid too much for a car then it was only a matter of time before it became a good deal. The only exception would be real high end cars like COPO,Yenko,L88 Vettes and Hemi cars. They seem to hold their value,no matter what.
