It works and I'll have to adjust it.

In all honesty, I don't think we're going to do much to this one this year. I kinda want to focus on the Chevelle. Need to get it back on the road, and the list for the Camaro just keeps growing. Think we'll just park it for this year.

Well, maybe we'll go through the engine. I'm not sure. A buddy of mine is coming up from SC to get the 289 out of our garage that we have no use for, so we'd have a stand at least. I don't know yet.

Flipped the hood stacks. Must give James (first gen addict) and Darrell (cook dw) credit for the idea.

Might want to put this in the classified section for parts.

Expect to see more Chevelle posts this year. Either a battery cable or the starter is dead. Put a brand new battery in it, and it refused to even click. Not a single thing happened. I'm at the end of my rope on stuff just going wrong left and right, so it's just going to stay in the garage this year. Maybe pull the motor.

OK Joe -- lets try some basic T/Sg first -- make sure shifter is in PARK.
- check all the batt cable connections ... pos and neg
- jump the starter from the pos batt terminal to the start terminal with a bump switch or screwdriver -- this eliminates the start circuit ... you don't even need the ign switch on ... if engine cranks ... check "start" circuit.
- if the engine does not crank -- tap on the starter ... sometimes this will "jar" the brushes to make contact.
- if the engine cranks -- check the neutral safety switch by holding key to start position and moving gear shift.
- attempt to start with gear shift in the "neutral" position.
- if last step fails -- check if there is 12v at the starter with key in the start position.
- if you don't see 12v on a meter -- back track circuit to the start switch.

I am sure others will chime in with ideas also ... TAZ

I will at some point. For now, I just need to walk away from it. It's getting to the point to where it's broken more than it is drivable. When the Chevelle takes it's turn at doing stuff like this I'll turn my attention back to it.
