Default V-Code '70 Road Runner Project

Rusty by California standards, but doesn't look too bad. Fender tag is missing. Seller states this was a factory air car - was that available with the 440-6 mill?

Buy-it-now is $20k, thinking it won't last long at that price.

I must be way out of touch on Mopar prices.

I don't see $20k there.

"Kept in a dry, southern California climate".
Must have been after it rusted to heck as a coast car.
Almost as bad as a southern Midwest car for rust.

Not saying it isn't possible, as I'm not well versed in Mopar, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a 440-6 with factory air.

Auto trans cars came with 8 3/4 diff unless track pak or super track pak was ordered. So you could get a dana, but it was optional. V-code cars could not be ordered with a/c - the compressor interfered with the 6bbl air cleaner. If you wanted a 440 and a/c, the 4 barrel car was the only choice.

Well then, something is fishy here.....either it wasn't originally a 440-6 car or it wasn't originally a factory air car. The fender tag being MIA doesn't help.

1) An original 440+6 B Body would have had a Dana rear.
2) No A/C allowed with a 440+6
3) Looks like a regular non-A/C firewall based on the crappy photo.
