The only way to know this would be to have factory docs on each car showing build configuration. None are known to exist. However engine production is known: 822 MN and 193 MO. Automatic COPOs are fairly rare; only around 19% of production. A big chunk of those went to Yenko and most were column-shifted and converted to the Hurst dual-gate floor console at Yenko.

Not all though - a friend has a loaded automatic Yenko Camaro factory built with a console and other rare options. Can be bought if you are in the market.

William,
That is very unusual for a Yenko Camaro. Do you have copies of dealer or factory docs which show that this Yenko was built with the console option?

No paperwork - it is on the page no one seems to have. Based on the factory rivnuts holding the console in place, a floor-shift steering column and no evidence of a Hurst Dual-Gate I believe the console to be factory installed.

Were all of the 9737 auto cars built with the console?
I have not yet seen one that wasn't.

All of Yenkos Camaros had #9737 and nearly all the autos were built with column shift, later converted.

COPO 9737 Had nothing to do with the RPO D55 Console Option.

Isn´t that the one that Yenko ordered as a 4-speed, but it was built with an automatic ?

I do not know if this is that car. For a Yenko it is unusually equipped, in addition to the normal stuff: vinyl roof, console, power steering, special front bumper, style trim, special interior group.

Went for a ride a few weeks ago-nothing like an old muscle car!
