Default '72 Corvette #s LS5/4-sp, Steel Cities Gray, Factory A/C

This is one extremely cool car in one of my favorite Corvette colors. Bidding is currently at $29k with a few days left to go, and no reserve. Will be watching this one til the end.

I didn't think I would like the saddle interior contrast, but I really do!

Tony, you are correct, that is a beautiful color combo, but he could keep the rosewood wheel. It just looks way out of place to me.
Wish I had about 35k to spend on a NICE driver, because this looks like it could be "the one".

I agree with that steering wheel. He said he has the original.

Yep, he could swap them before I picked it up and hang it on his garage wall...

That’s not an original rosewood. Just a fat handle repo.

How is it that the 454 in the Corvette only rates for a weak M20 vs the M22 for the Chevelle & Elco SS 454's???

By 1972, all the Muncies were stout boxes. The transmissions got stronger as the engines got weaker…..

I thought the M22 was always an option and with the 3.08 gears, not available ? The 3.08 gears usually mandated the 2.52 first gear of the M20. Of course, seems most everything could be overridden with enough know how.

Sold for $39,400. Seems someone got a fair deal on a nice car, given the current price market.
