And then like chevyman0429 said:

"That thing needs a 351 Cleveland (or a BOSS 302) a stout c6 trans with a big coan converter a 9” and a good set of shoulder harnesses! Now THAT would be Cool.

Why does that car call my name so much???

I can see it painted up as a Barrie Pool/John Elliot/Lance Hill (I know he is all Chevy) Border Bandits Bad Ass MF drag car!!

And a 4 speed, for heavens sakes!!!

This old photo of a family photo showed up in my FB memories today :-)

After my Cutlass and VW, a Lil Red Express, then a Pinto?

Sherri's first car was a Pinto. You know how some folks have a real soft spot for their first car? She told me if I bring home a Pinto, it's all over. One of us is moving out.

Mmmmwwwaahhaahhaaaa…cough, cough….oh, sorry.

Seems as though my little post has created quite the emotional reaction.

I’m telling ya…….I’m close. Roger will go with me to tow it home until you (whomever) can get shipping arranged to your planet of residence!

Cheers
Dave

PS: Lil’ Red Express? I got an 85 D150 calling your name Ryan!

I watched a very good documentary on Sam Little, the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history, he drove a brown Pinto Wagon exactly like this one, with wood paneling on the sides, in which many of his victims met their demise. I now get chills every time I see one....so I'm out
