Do you know the first gear ratio.NASCAR used a 2.64 first years ago with a iron case, steel mid plate and hi nickle gears.GM also had a 3.42 first gear iron case trans but was the lowest TQ rated ST-10.Tom

MN is an application code for an L30. I'm thinking the name refers to a '67 Nova or Impala SS with that engine ?

First gear ratio has a lot to do with the strength of the ST10. I had a 904 iron case ST10 with the 3.42 first gear, which is the weakest of all the ST10s, but still a good transmission. 6 rings on the input shaft.
