Default Very Clean '65 El Camino, #s 327/4-sp

Cool truck with a nice color combo, dash tach and dashtop clock, and even the original dealer emblem from George Irwin Chevrolet in Denver. Sweet....

One of my favorite color combos for '65.

----Was an AC car which would have been cool,,,no pun intended. AM/FM radio as well. To bad its not at least a 300hp car, or better yet a 350hp. What struck me in the interior was the rusty ring around the shifter boot and yet the new carpet. Neat ride though!....Bill S

Looks like it was painted black. Would be easy to blast and paint.

Great looking vehicle.

A cool Elc indeed! Wouldn't be that tough to sweat some details and bring it up a level.

Few little things to address.

I would put the AC back in, maybe using a modern Sanborn type compressor (did I spell that right?)

I would do the same disc brake conversion I did on my 68 El Camino.

Fix the aforementioned shift boot ring.

That's about it. Love the interior. White cars, while a bit boring, still look good.

----I agree, Lynn. None of my rambling was meant to be negative, it just struck me funny. I wouldn't mind having this one either....Bill S

Neat El Camino!

That Ermine White with Aqua interior makes for a refreshing look, especially with the tinted glass.

Too bad they got crazy with the black spray bomb under the hood (hoses, rag joint, etc.).
They should have painted that shifter boot ring at that time.

Someone needs to reinstall the air conditioning to really make it refreshing.
