Yeah, that was me Ryan. For some reason everyone remembers Kandy's name and forgets mine..lol.. Spent a couple hours dying her skirt Thursday night before the show but it still wasn't orange enough for my taste.

MCACN will need to host a special display next year.

Gathering of the plaid.

All cars with houndstooth interiors must have an owner present with matching plaid trousers or a skirt. (lol)

It was great meeting you too Ryan. We met so many nice folks at MCACN that year, probably the highlight of my car life!

That's a great idea Graeme, unfortunately we don't own the orange COPO anymore, its back up in Wisconsin now. Probably wouldn't have to twist Kandy's arm very hard to get her to wear a yellow hounds tooth skirt to the show this year though..lol..

Well...here's to hoping this Covid virus is put to bed by next year as I doubt I'll be travelling to MCACN in 2020. Borders are still closed and at this point there is talk about both sides remaining closed until year end.

In other news, I also received the original dealer invoice for the car along with some other cool documents and pictures this week. Here are a couple scans of some photo's Robin took about 40 years ago. The front left fender extension has a crease in it and I'm guessing the front corner got tweaked and maybe bent the original Endura bumper because it was gone prior to Robin owning the car. The grill was also changed out to black for whatever reason? The chrome bumper still has a GM label showing on the inside

Received a couple of important pieces needed for the restoration today. Big thanks to Eddie E. for the tilt column, and Jeff M. for the used yellow bumper. Both pieces will now be restored before being installed into the car when it's ready. Interior fabric shipped today also. Woohoo!
