Default 67th Ave Cruise 7/16/2011

After watching a movie and eating dinner at the Peoria 5 and Diner, we drove over to the 67th Ave Cruise. It was still about 103* at 7:30 PM, so there wasn't a whole lot of cruisers there. However, did manage to find some cool stuff.

This was diesel powered.

Hmmmm, what happened to the Dana Chevrolet frame?

Another Corvair

I had one of these, kind of a tan exterior with a red interior. It was a family hand-me-down, from my grandmother to my cousin, to me. My parents would not let me store it around the house, as I was 14 at the time. Around the same time, my sister blew up her Toyota, so I had to let her use it for two years. Wasn't returned to me in the same shape a gave it to her, so I sold it.

After hanging out at 67th Ave, drove over to 83rd Ave. Not much there to take pics of, except for about 5 Cobra replicas, a bunch of new Challengers and Chargers, and very few older cars. Even the new Mustang people were not there.

That's all for tonight. Since the temps are up there, cruises are not well attended as during the fall, winter, and spring.
