My dad's LS6 was the very last new LS6 that they had on the lot (Late Aug 70), his car was delivered as a Hult car but sat on the lot long enough to be sold as a Thorstad car. A few months before he bought his car, he test drove the dealerships chevelle demo car, it was a blue/ white top/ white interior, convertible with a LS6 and a 4 speed.

Back to the original post, those are some cool ads, Kurt! The current ownership of the dealer (thorstat) is fairly open to emailing, probably would enjoy a copy, and may lead to more info. I emailed with them in the past, the original owner's son (thorstat family) still runs it, said his dad may have pictures of the dealership floor. I changed jobs and never followed up with them by providing a current email. They were emailing me back from time to time, saying they were still looking for 69 vintage pictures.

Hult had one of the cooler dealer emblems, too:

Since there is so little information out there on these old dealers, I decided to create a website, http://www.vintageday2.com, dedicated to dealer memorabilia and vintage speed parts. There isn't much on there today but I will update it regularly with new info as I do more research on these dealers. I also shared some of the Ebay searches that have helped me amass my emblem collection. Thought some of you guys would appreciate it!

Marlin - Are the 12 on the VIN list with dealerships all accounted for in one shape or form? Is there any dealership information on the other 11 on the list? Finally, theres simply ZERO information on the alleged 15 other cars?

What you see on the list is what we know - unfortunately. Those with dealer info is not an indicator that the car is accounted for, we just simply know the dealer from a variety of research efforts performed by several different people - namely Stan Falenski back in '98 or so.
