Most likely there will be a second "aero wars" but instead of aerodynamics, there will be a resurgence of door ding side strips on the right side but now made of Teflon. Pit crews will now train on how quick they can change them out instead of tire changes! Imagine going three wide in a corner where they are all pressed up against each other!

If NASCAR does ban that maneuver from ever happening again, his team should push that car as is into a corner, and race another one from now on.
As I could see that car becoming somewhat of a collectors item over time.

Rumors are that the old Hudsons used to use the Armco guard rails to achive the same effect in the late 40's and early 50's.

Charley has already intimated he would like it. If the move is banned, it becomes a million dollar car overnight and the price only goes up from there....

Steve O’Donnell, Executive Vice President of NASCAR

Says the move Ross Chastain made was within the rule book and going into this weekend's Championship race at Phoenix there is no need to adjust the rule but it will be looked at in the off-season as they do with all the rules to see if some sort of action is needed.
