Must have been a theft recovery early in life. Parts replaced, car repainted in lacquer in the 70’s.

Guy i bought the parts from personally restored the car years ago. I was able to contact the selling dealer and he is supposedly going to forward the photos to the owner. I too saw where it was sold as original paint/metal

BAT listing clearly says it was repainted.

On BaT twice, restoration cited each time. Any idea why the front fenders weren’t used? The factory rolled fender lips usually make them worth trying to save.

The one fender is actually very nice, the other one needs a little bit of lip repair.

Correction on my part, someone sent me a mecum 2013 listing where it says the car was all original sheet metal.

The guy i bought the parts from restored the car in the early 90’s and kept the sheet metal all these years.

I have an email out to the current owner of the car per his request.
